A sleeveless mesh or solid vest in fluorescent yellow-green or orange with retro-reflective bands around the torso and over the shoulders. Class 2 sets the minimum area of background material and reflective tape for a construction site. Look for a breakaway zipper and pockets - a tear-away vest pulls free if it catches on machinery.
Buying tip
Class 2 is the site standard. Get one with pockets — you'll thank yourself.
Heads-up Check if your employer supplies PPE before buying your own.
